A full stack JavaScript application for professionals who want to share brief written descriptions of their current projects (Nowwws). This project was inspired by Derek Siver's concept of a 'Now Page' and combines the user profile features from OurNows.com with the card gallery aesthetic of ADPList.org. The app allows users to view a gallery of other users and perform CRUD operations through editing profile details along with adding and deleting Nowww entries.

A dynamic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript web application for professionals who want to relocate to urban areas. This project was inspired by my 2 years living abroad, itch for travel, and plan for relocating as I break into tech. The web app includes features that allow users to search for quality of life scores for urban areas and store or remove cities from a favorited or skipped list.

WHAT TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES DO YOU USE?
I have a firm grasp on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm also experienced with PostgreSQL, Express, React, and Node (PERN stack), along with tools such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Git, GitHub, npm, Webpack, Babel, DbDesigner VSCode, ESLint, Slack, Basecamp, Figma, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Illustrator, and the list continues to grow.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A SOFTWARE ENGINEER?
Becoming a software engineer has allowed me to combine some of my favorite things. I get to express my creativity through working on the front-end, exercise my critical thinking and background in philosophy through developing code logic and solving algorithms, and in subtle ways contribute towards philanthropy by providing technical solutions to some of the world's problems.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS?
The future is unpredictable, but I wouldn't mind contributing towards the goals of a large company or working with a small team in a startup environment. I do plan to continue my education in the field and to utilize my skills to aid the less fortunate in some way shape or form. Feel free to connect with me if you have any interesting projects.
